About this recipe: Today's menu has a strong antioxidant! The flavours of cabbage, onion and apple, sharpened with a bit of cider vinegar, blend beautifully together.

Serves: 8 

  • 1 small red cabbage
  • 4 red apples
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 250ml water
  • salt and pepper to taste

  1. Chop the cabbage. Peel and cube the apples. Chop the onions.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and sweat the onion. Add everything else. Cover and cook until very tender, at least 60 minutes. Enjoy!
