Morning egg with bacon

    Serves: 3 

    • 3 teaspoons butter, melted
    • 3 rashers bacon
    • 3 eggs
    • 1 1/2 slices cheese

    Prep:15min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:35min 

    1. Heat a frying pan. Fry the bacon so the rashers are brown but still soft.
    2. Place 1 bacon rasher in a muffin tin or ramekin, lining the sides. Repeat with remaining 2 rashers. Add 1 teaspoon of melted butter to each cup, then crack 1 egg in each.
    3. Bake in a 180 C / Gas 4 preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes. During the last couple minutes of baking, top each with cheese and bake until the cheese is melted.

    Something else. Added a little pepper and worcester sauce onto the cheese to give it a little more bass flavour.  -  23 Jan 2011
