This was my 1st attempt at baking a cake, this recipe was so easy to follow and my cake was delicious! I only used 1 cake tin instead of two smaller ones so I had to leave the cake in longer, I think it was nearly 30 minutes, but it turned out fine and was lovely and moist!

I am really glad I found this recipe, did it the traditional way though - mixed butter and sugar first, added one egg at a time, added vanilla essence then sifted in flour and baking powder.

This recipe was completely and utterly amazing! I love it. It's so easy and you can add anything to it! I made a red valentine's day one with purple hearts on top. Just add food colouring and it works! I'm only 13 and it's quick, easy and fun to make. I hope my family like it when they come in today! Wish me luck!
