I love lemon! These lemon slices are super juicy. If you like, you can also bake the base in a springform tin and make a lemon cake out of it. But as the lemon slices are very rich, I think an entire piece of cake would be too much of a good thing. The use of fresh lemon juice (or lime juice as a substitute), however, is a must!
