About this recipe: This is a slow cooker side dish that the entire family will love. Frozen sweetcorn kernels combine with cream cheese and Cheddar for a fabulous addition to your favourite chicken or turkey dish. Nice alongside a roast, too.


Serves: 8 

  • 500g frozen sweetcorn
  • 400g cream cheese, cubed
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 225g grated Cheddar cheese

  1. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker. Mix well.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or until heated through and the cheese is melted.
  3. Stir well before serving.
