Chicken Wings - Seven Ways

    Seven different sauces and 21 chicken wings. Sounds like a chore, but it's quite easy to whip up this impressive platter of chicken wings, and you'll have three of each flavour in the end. Second time round you can pick your favourite sauces and simply increase the quantity to make only those that were your favourites!

    • 21 chicken wings
    • Honey Soy Garlic
    • 1/2 tablespoon oil
    • 1/2 tablespoon honey
    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
    • 1 clove garlic, finely grated
    • Lemon Pepper
    • juice of half a lemon
    • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    • Honey and Lemon
    • juice of 1/2 a lemon
    • 1 tablespoon honey
    • Garlic and Pepper
    • 3 cloves garlic, finely grated
    • 3/4 teaspoon palm sugar
    • 3/4 teaspoon mixed white and black pepper
    • 2 teaspoons fish sauce
    • 2 tablespoons oil
    • Tomato and Herb
    • 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
    • 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
    • Lemongrass
    • 2 tablespoons finely chopped lemongrass
    • Honey
    • 6 teaspoons honey

    1. Boil the wings on medium heat for 5 minutes until just cooked.
    2. While the chicken wings are boiling, make all the different sauces separately by combining the ingredients listed above in separate bowls.
    3. When the chicken has finished cooking, drain and cool for 10 minutes. After the chicken has cooled put three wings in each bowl of sauce and marinate for 3 minutes.
    4. After marinating is finished, put all the wings under a grill or on the BBQ on medium heat and turn after one side is slightly charred.
    5. Brush the other side with leftover marinade.
    6. After the second side has charred slightly, turn off heat and put them on a large plate to serve.
