About this recipe:
This is a traditional Scottish dessert. It's made by folding whisky, honey, fresh raspberries and toasted oatmeal into lightly whipped cream. Enjoy throughout the summer.
275ml double cream
1 tablespoon whisky
2 tablespoons clear honey
3 tablespoons oatmeal
- Toast the oatmeal in a frying pan over low heat. Let cool.
- Lightly whip the cream, then fold in the honey, whisky, oatmeal and raspberries.
- Chill in refrigerator until ready to serve.
If your local supermarket doesn't stock oatmeal, simply blitz some porridge oats in a food processor until finely ground.
