About this recipe:
This traditional American treat is simple and delicious. Both kids and adults will love it! Digestive biscuits are layered with marshmallows, chocolate chunks and baked.
150g mini marshmallows
125g unsalted butter
145g dark brown soft sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
125g digestive biscuit crumbs
10 digestive biscuits
plain chocolate chunks/chips as needed

Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
Warm the butter, dark brown soft sugar, vanilla, milk and biscuit crumbs in saucepan and stir until combined.
Line baking tray with baking parchment. Layer the bottom of tray with biscuits.
Pour 1/2 of the butter mixture over the base. Layer chocolate chunks and marshmallows on top.
Add another layer of biscuits, remaining butter mixture, chocolate chunks and marshmallows. Sprinkle chocolate chunks and marshmallows on top.
Bake for 15 minutes. Allow to cool before cutting into 9 pieces. Serve warm with ice cream for a special treat!
Oh, these were so good. If I could rate them more then 5 then I would: so delicious and easy to make. I will definitely be making them again and again. It is easy to see where they get their name. Thanks for sharing.
