6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon crushed chillies or to taste
1 teaspoon salt
freshly ground pepper to taste
finely grated Parmesan cheese to taste

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to the boil. Cook the spaghetti according to the packet's instructions. Drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, make the sauce. Heat oil in a frying pan and saute the garlic, crushed chillies and salt for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with black pepper.
Add cooked spaghetti to the frying pan and toss to coat over low heat. Serve with grated Parmesan and extra black pepper.
