Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies

    A super-scrummy cookie that's packed full of chocolately goodness. These cookies are dotted with dark, milk and white chocolate chips. It's the dream cookie for any chocolate lover.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 100g caster sugar
    • 90g dark brown soft sugar
    • 175g unsalted butter, softened
    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 egg
    • 90g plain flour
    • 125g self-raising flour
    • 85g dark chocolate chips
    • 85g milk chocolate chips
    • 85g white chocolate chips

    Method
    Prep:30min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:45min 

    1. Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
    2. Cream together the sugars and butter until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
    3. Add the flours and with a wooden spoon, mix well. Stir in all of the chocolate chips. Stir well to combine.
    4. Roll teaspoonfuls of cookie dough into balls. Place onto lightly greased baking trays.
    5. Bake cookies for 12-15 minutes. Cool on trays before transferring to a wire rack.
    6. Store any leftovers in an airtight container.

    Have just cooked a batch of these biscuits. They seem ok and taste nice, but very very greasy. I wonder if there is a bit too much butter in the recipe?  -  20 Dec 2015  (Review from Allrecipes AU | NZ)
