    About this recipe: A meal that my mother used to make which was a winner in our house. It's a simple treat that takes little to no effort and is great for the kids to get involved with. We mostly had this with whole potatoes and peas, but it will go with any seasonal vegetable or rice.

    Serves: 4 

    • 1 large onion, finely chopped
    • 500g sausage meat
    • 2 beef stock cubes

    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:40min  ›  Ready in:50min 

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
    2. Mix onion with sausage meat and place into a medium roasting pan. Sprinkle stock cubes all over the meat. Pour water all over the meat.
    3. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, then check on progress. More water may be required to stop meat from drying out.
