Healthy kale crisps

    Kale is one of those leafy greens we should all eat more of. This recipe will show you how to create wonderfully crisp and light kale crisps with just three ingredients.

    Serves: 6 

    • 1 bunch kale
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt

    1. Preheat an oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Line a baking tray with baking parchment.
    2. With a knife or kitchen scissors, carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner. Drizzle kale with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning salt.
    3. Bake until the edges brown but are not burnt, 10 to 15 minutes.

    I agree, these are absolutely delicious. Try sprinkling some chilli flakes over before cooking for a little kick to these chips!  -  16 Aug 2010


    I used rock salt straight from the packet which made them a bit salty. Will grind it next time. Delicious flavour and enjoyed by all!  -  15 Apr 2012
