    About this recipe: A deliciously sweet parsnip recipe. Parnsips are tossed in honey, water and melted butter, then baked to perfection. Serve at your next Sunday lunch or Christmas dinner. They are perfect with any meal.

    Serves: 6 

    • 125ml warm water
    • 175g honey
    • 1 tablespoon melted butter
    • 5 parsnips, peeled and cubed

    1. Preheat oven to 190 C / Gas 5.
    2. Stir together water, butter and honey in a large bowl until the honey has dissolved.
    3. Add the parsnips and toss to coat. Transfer the parsnips and honey sauce into a 23x30cm or similar sized baking dish.
    4. Bake uncovered in preheated oven until the parsnips are very soft, about 30 minutes.
