About this recipe: This dip is awesome. Cream cheese is blended with cooked bacon, leeks and seasonings. Serve with crackers, crostini, chips or as a sandwich spread. This dip tastes best when allowed to sit for 24 hours.


Serves: 24 

  • 450g streaky bacon
  • 15 leeks, trimmed and chopped
  • 700g cream cheese
  • 2 large cloves garlic
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

  1. Place bacon in a frying pan. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain and crumble.
  2. In a food processor, blend the cooked bacon, leeks, cream cheese, garlic and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
