This is a great treat for breakfast, brunch or dessert during Christmastime. Panettone is soaked in a sweetened egg mixture, then pan-fried until golden and served with a rich orange-mascarpone sauce.

I usually make a quiche for Christmas breakfast but it was too labor intensive for me this year so I tried this recipe and got rave reviews.
