I usually use ripe peaches and lightly sugared berries, but any variation will work! Serve warm with ice cream, custard or whipped cream.
OMG! This is so simple and so nice! How have i never thought of this before! I used all frozen fresh fruit and it made no difference, it made its own sauce like a coulis. I only used 100g sugar because im counting the calories (FYI theres only 212kcals in one serving!!!) and i just used twice as much pears because i had no apples. Altered ingredient amounts. Has become a favourite pudding around the house. I serve it warm, right out of the oven, with ice cream. Very easy to make, and everyone loves it. I use less sugar than what the recipe asks for 'cause I add some dark brown sugar and cinnamon to the apples to give them more flavour. - 21 Jul 2008
