About this recipe: This is a deceivingly strong alcoholic drink, made by combining rum, coconut rum, vodka, gin, triple sec, orange juice, pineapple juice, grenadine syrup and 151 proof rum.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 1

    • 1 cupful crushed ice
    • 2 tablespoons rum
    • 2 tablespoons coconut rum
    • 2 tablespoons vodka
    • 2 tablespoons gin
    • 2 tablespoons triple sec (orange flavoured liqueur)
    • 4 tablespoons orange juice
    • 2 tablespoons pineapple juice
    • 2 tablespoons grenadine syrup
    • 2 tablespoons 151 proof rum
    • 1 orange slice
    • 1 lime slice
    • 1 cocktail cherry

    Method
    Prep:10min  ›  Ready in:10min

    1. Fill a hurricane cocktail glass with ice. Pour in the rum, coconut rum, vodka, gin, triple sec, orange juice, pineapple juice and grenadine. Stir well with a bar spoon, then pour the 151 rum over the back of the spoon to float on top of the drink. Garnish the glass with orange, lime and a cherry.
    2. Sip with a straw from the bottom for a 'sneak up on you' punch or sip from the top for a 'knock you down' twister.
