About this recipe:A favourite dish in our family, and so simple to prepare at the last minute. Leeks are braised in stock and flavoured with ham and cream, then served with pasta. A quick, tasty meal for during the week.
125ml beef stock
200g cooked ham
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Cook the pasta according to packet instructions; drain.
In the meantime wash the leeks well and slice thinly. Boil for 5 minutes in the stock. Add cream and cook for another 10 minutes.
Cut the ham into thin strips and add to the sauce. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Serve over the pasta.
