Cheese tomato and pasta

    This recipe is a simple dish. I like a lot of cheese in mine, but add the amount that you want. Use any kind of cheese you like but I think Red Leicester goes best.

    Makes: 3 servings

    • 1/2 bag pasta
    • 1 tin chopped tomatoes
    • grated cheese to taste

    1. First bring a pot of water to the boil and cook your pasta to your taste. Drain and rinse the pasta and put back into the saucepan.
    2. Open a tin of chopped tomatoes, pour into the saucepan with the pasta and simmer.
    3. While the tomatoes are cooking you can add either grated or sliced cheese to the saucepan. When the cheese is melted the pasta is ready to serve.


    This dish is filling so you don't need anything else with it, plus it is a cheap meal.

    My mum's made me this dish since I was a nipper...It's totally yummy! Anybody who likes pasta/cheese will simply love this and should give it a try. So simple to make too. When I'm being adventurous I add bacon bits or leftover sausage!  -  24 Jan 2014
