Green beans with garlic and pine nuts

About this recipe:
An easy side dish that's great with pork.
500g (1 1/4 lb) fresh green beans, trimmed and snapped
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
30g (1 oz) pine nuts, chopped
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Place the green beans in a medium saucepan with enough water to cover, and bring to the boil. Cook 5 minutes, or until tender.
- Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Stir in the garlic and pine nuts, and sauté until lightly browned.
- Drain the green beans and toss with the garlic and pine nuts. Season with salt and pepper.
