About this recipe: A mouth-watering chocolate cake which is extremely easy and quick to make and could easily be made vegan!
This recipe makes a lot of icing so what I do, is I carefully cut the cake in half (horizontally) and put the icing on the bottom half like I'm spreading some butter on a sandwich. I then put the top half back on and use the rest of the icing on top to decorate.
the cake is delicious.. I follwed the recipe perfectly..but it did not rise as much as i would have liked.. any suggestions? - 16 May 2012
Beautiful cake, It came out quite flat and fell apart a bit even though i had used self raising flour plus the baking powder, however it tastes delicious, and was the perfect solution to my no eggs crisis ! will definately make again, Thanks ! - 27 Sep 2012
