About this recipe: This recipe is from my gran's church cookbook from 1960. Hope you'll enjoy it.

VERDIEIIIS

Ingredients
Serves: 12 

  • 4 tablespoons tarragon vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 2 bunches spring onions
  • 1 bunch fresh parsley
  • 2 (50g) tins anchovy fillets
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 450g (16 oz) mayonnaise

Method

  1. Purée vinegars, onions, parsley, anchovies, garlic, salt and lemon juice in a blender until well combined. Blend in mayonnaise and serve over crisp green salad.
