Heat a medium to large frying pan and add the olive oil.
Add the tomatoes and let them heat up for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add the garlic, basil, oregano, peppers and salt and mix thoroughly until blended.
Once the mixture has come to a boil, simmer for 15 minutes. By this time it should have thickened slightly.
Mix in the tomatoe puree, then leave to cool for about 20 minutes before using on your pizza.
For this recipe I reccomend using crushed garlic you would find in the dried spice section of your supermarket. If you prefer to use fresh garlic, use 2 cloves of minced garlic, and fry it initially with the can of tomatoes.
Be sure to let this sauce cool thoroughly before using it on your pizza. If you use hot sauce on a pizza when it goes into the oven, it will burn the cheese before the dough has cooked.
