About this recipe:
This is a lovely dessert for a dinner party. The recipe is for plain cheesecake; you can add any topping you choose.
16 digestive biscuits
300g full fat soft cheese
50g caster sugar
200g double cream
Extra time:2hr chilling ›
- Get two sandwich bags and put biscuits in the bag. Get a rolling pin and bash them into crumbs.
- Put the butter into a pan over low heat until melted. Put the crumbs into the pan and mix together. Press the biscuit mixture into the bottom of a cake tin spread out evenly. Then put into the fridge.
- Mix the soft cheese, sugar and cream with a hand blender for about 10 seconds.
- Spread the mixture you have just made over the base and make sure it is all level. Top with any topping you like. Chill in the fridge for a good 2 to 3 hours before serving for best results.
