Cheese cake

    This is a lovely dessert for a dinner party. The recipe is for plain cheesecake; you can add any topping you choose.

    Serves: 10 

    • 16 digestive biscuits
    • 100g butter
    • 300g full fat soft cheese
    • 50g caster sugar
    • 200g double cream

    1. Get two sandwich bags and put biscuits in the bag. Get a rolling pin and bash them into crumbs.
    2. Put the butter into a pan over low heat until melted. Put the crumbs into the pan and mix together. Press the biscuit mixture into the bottom of a cake tin spread out evenly. Then put into the fridge.
    3. Mix the soft cheese, sugar and cream with a hand blender for about 10 seconds.
    4. Spread the mixture you have just made over the base and make sure it is all level. Top with any topping you like. Chill in the fridge for a good 2 to 3 hours before serving for best results.
