Stir-Fried Chinese Leaf with Peppers

About this recipe: A simple and nutritious Chinese side dish, which is also quick and easy to make. Chinese leaf cabbage is stir-fried with green pepper, spring onions and ginger.


Serves: 2 

  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 (2cm) piece ginger, sliced
  • 2 spring onions, chopped into 2.5cm pieces
  • 200g Chinese leaf cabbage, finely chopped
  • 80g seeded green pepper, julienned
  • soy sauce to taste
  • salt to taste

  1. Heat the oil in a wok over high heat. Add the ginger and spring onions and stir fry until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add the cabbage and stir fry for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the green peppers and soy sauce and stir-fry for about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Season with the salt to your taste. Serve
