About this recipe: Great for entertaining. This recipe can be done quickly without much effort, but has a lovely little something special from the goat cheese. Use a very soft or spreadable goat cheese. Serve with all kind of meat.


Serves: 4 

  • 750g potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 250ml milk
  • 100g fresh goat cheese
  • 50g butter
  • 1 pinch of ground nutmeg

  1. Add potatoes to a saucepan and cover with cold water. Add a pinch of salt. Bring to the boil and cook for 15 minutes. Drain the potatoes, cool for one or two minutes so that the steam evaporates, and then mash the potatoes.
  2. Add the milk, goat cheese and butter to a saucepan. Cook over low heat. When melted, add the potatoes. Season with nutmeg, salt and pepper.
