About this recipe: This dessert is quick and easy to make. Orange juice is heated with cornflour and butter and then chilled. It's similar to Angel Delight in texture - creamy, thick and delicious. For the ultimate orange flavour, try adding some grated orange zest to the mix.


Serves: 4 

  • 2-3 oranges, juiced
  • 5 tablespoons cornflour
  • 60g butter

Prep:20min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Extra time:1hr chilling  ›  Ready in:1hr25min 

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan.
  2. Add the cornflour and stir with a wooden spoon.
  3. Cook over medium heat. Gradually add the orange juice.
  4. Stir and cook until thick.
  5. Pour into small ramekins or in a bowl and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
