Braised Pork with Honey and Ginger

    3 hours

This Chinese-inspired pork dish is incredibly easy to make. Marinated pork fillets are braised in a garlic, ginger and honey sauce. It's sweet, sticky and oh-so-good! Serve with freshly cooked rice, if desired.

    3. Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Pan-sear the pork fillets evenly on all sides. Pour the marinade over and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.

First time making this, I only marinated for 15 minutes as had no time. As a healthier alternative, I used 3 tablespoons of cold pressed organic coconut oil instead of the vegetable oil and I don't use bags to marinate, just a dish, bags are messy. Totally Yummeee! LOVED IT!!! Will be making it again using different meats too!  -  22 Mar 2016  (Review from Allrecipes AU | NZ)

This is such an easy dish and totally scrummy! I didn't have a bag so put it in a dish covered with plastic wrap in the morning and cooked it for dinner, really good.  -  14 Aug 2013  (Review from Allrecipes AU | NZ)
