This cake is quick and easy to throw together. It's tender, well-flavoured and packed full of apples. Serve with a dusting of icing sugar, whipped cream, ice cream or custard.
I loved the simplicity of this recipe and the fact that there are quite a lot of apples to cake in the ratio. However it was quite soggy. Maybe a higher temperature or leave it uncovered? Less apples? Any suggestions would be appreciated. - 06 Oct 2013
