Whey and vegetable soup

    When you make cheese at home, or drain your yoghurt to make it thick (Greek style), then you end up with lots of whey. This is tasty and moderately nutritious, so it seems a shame to throw it away.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 400g vegetables, whatever you like
    • 500ml water
    • 500ml whey

    Method
    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Ready in:35min 

    1. Prepare some vegetables, and put the parings in a pot with some water, and boil it. Above it, steam the vegetables.
    2. Drain the resulting stock, add an equal amount of whey, and add the vegetables. After liquidizing, a nice soup.
