Chocolate Truffles with Orange

    The classic flavour combination of chocolate and orange are brought together in these delicious truffles. They are so good, you can't stop at eating just one!

    Makes: 50 truffles, depending on size

    • 150g dark chocolate, broken into chunks
    • 150g milk chocolate, broken into chunks
    • 125g butter, softened
    • 1 teaspoon finely chopped crystallised orange peel
    • 50g icing sugar
    • 2 dessertspoons orange liqueur, such as Cointreau
    • 80g unsweetened cocoa powder

    1. Melt chocolate in a double boil, stirring until smooth.
    2. In a separate bowl, mix together icing sugar and butter until smooth.
    3. Add the melted chocolate, peel and liqueur. Mix well and chill until firm, about 1-1 1/2 hours.
    4. Using a spoon, scoop out portions of the chocolate mix and roll into balls.
    5. Roll truffles in cocoa and place in mini paper cases. Keep refrigerated.
