Bonfire Night hot dogs

    Very easy pork sausage hot dogs with raw onion and lashings of mustard make this fiery snack perfect for Bonfire Night - serve just before the fireworks.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 2 

    • 2 best thick pork sausages
    • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
    • 2 large, soft rolls
    • 3 to 4 teaspoons hot mustard
    • 2 thick slices roasted pork (optional - good use of leftovers)
    • 1 raw onion, sliced into rings
    • 1 handful lambs lettuce

    Method
    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:25min 

    1. Cook sausages in extra virgin olive oil until golden brown.
    2. Remove from pan and blot on kitchen paper.
    3. Halve rolls and spread liberally with mustard (as desired).
    4. Place pork slices on top with some onion rings.
    5. Add halved pork sausages and top with more onion rings, and lambs lettuce.
