BBQ marinade with beer

    This marinade is packed full of flavour. It's made by combining barbecue sauce, steak sauce, vinegar, garlic, hot sauce and beer. Use to marinate anything you fancy.

    Serves: 12 

    • 125ml barbecue sauce
    • 125ml steak sauce
    • 125ml balsamic vinegar
    • 1 teaspoon garlic granules
    • 4 tablespoons hot sauce
    • 300ml beer
    • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped

    1. In a tall glass, combine barbecue sauce, steak sauce, vinegar, garlic granules, hot sauce and beer. Mix well.
    2. Place the meat of choice in a container and rub the garlic firmly into it.
    3. Pour the marinade over the meat until fully covered and marinate for about 5 hours; cover and refrigerate while marinating. Cook as desired.

    I used half this recipe for a 32 ounce steak and had more than enough marinade. I cooked it on my George Foreman grill for 2 and 1/2 minutes and it came out medium rare,and was tender and juicy. We enjoyed the flavor but all we could really taste was the vinegar.
