About this recipe: A great white bread that's packed full of flavour. Simply weigh out the ingredients and let the bread maker do all of the hard work. Enjoy with lashings of butter or jam.


Makes: 1 loaf

  • 580g bread flour
  • 50g porridge oats
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dried active baking yeast
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 30g butter, cubed
  • 400ml orange juice
  • 65g diced dried apricots
  • 2 tablespoons honey, warmed

  1. Place bread ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer; add the dried apricots just before the knead cycle ends.
  2. Remove the bread promptly from the machine when it's finished and glaze with the warmed honey. Allow to cool completely before serving.
