    About this recipe: This delicious dish is quick and easy to make. It can be enjoyed over toast or served with pasta, rice or potatoes.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 450g minced beef
    • 4 tablespoons plain flour
    • 1 cube beef stock
    • 3/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1 pinch ground black pepper
    • 525ml milk
    • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

    Method
    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Brown beef in a large frying pan over medium high heat. Stir in flour, stock, salt and pepper. Saute all together for about 5 minutes or until flour is absorbed.
    2. Gradually stir in milk and Worcestershire sauce. Bring all to a simmer, stirring constantly. Cook until thickened, about 5 to 10 minutes. Serve hot.

    I really liked this recipe. Although I knew it would be on the bland side, I added these options to it and it was grand! 1 tablespoon worchester sauce 1 whole yellow onion chopped 2 teaspoons garlic salt 1 teaspoon onion salt 1 heaping tablespoon minced garlic 1 heaping tablespoon of Knorr beef Boulion I didnt add garlic to hamburger untill the last 20 seconds of browning. And I added the worchester sauce to the milk. Mixed Knorr beef Bouilion into flour misxture. Instead of bread, I used penne pasta, and had fried okra on the side.
