    About this recipe: A fab bread machine recipe for a hearty loaf enriched with sultana bran cereal. Absolutely wonderful toasted, served warm with lashings of butter. Look for regular white bread flour when making this recipe; the dark colour comes from the bran!

    Serves: 12 

    • 350ml water
    • 1 (7g) sachet dried active baking yeast
    • 1 tablespoon sugar
    • 410g bread flour
    • 90g sultana bran cereal
    • 1 teaspoon salt

    1. Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select Med Crust cycle; press Start.
