    About this recipe: This is a sweet and fruity BBQ sauce with a bit of bite. It is particularly fabulous on pork or beef. No need to cook this BBQ sauce, either - simply combine the ingredients and then baste the meat whilst it is cooking.

    Serves: 16 

    • 125g blackberry preserves
    • 360g ketchup
    • 2 tablespoons dark brown soft sugar
    • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    • 1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
    • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

    1. In a medium bowl, mix together blackberry preserves, ketchup, dark brown soft sugar, cayenne pepper, mustard powder and red wine vinegar. Use to baste pork or beef ribs while barbecuing.
