About this recipe: This chilli is so easy to make and is so good. Trust me! Serve over a baked potato and add a dollop of soured cream.

Ingredients
Serves: 6 

  • 450g beef mince
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 (400g) chopped tomatoes
  • 420g tomato passata
  • 1 (400g) haricot or kidney beans
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

Method
Prep:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:30min 

  1. In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, cook beef and onion until meat has browned. Stir in tomatoes, passata, beans, chilli powder, cumin, cayenne and garlic. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
