    About this recipe: This pasta bake is easy to prepare and cheap to make. Kids will love it. Spaghetti is combined with chicken breast pieces, Cheddar cheese and a tin of cream of mushroom soup, then baked till bubbly. Instead of the peppers, frozen garden peas are a tasty addition.

    Serves: 7 

    • 225g spaghetti
    • 280g chicken breast, cooked and diced
    • 75g jarred roasted red peppers, drained and chopped
    • 1 (295g) tin condensed cream of mushroom soup
    • 1/2 green pepper, diced
    • 170g grated Cheddar cheese

    1. Preheat oven to 120 C / Gas 1/2.
    2. Boil spaghetti in salted water for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
    3. Mix together in large bowl: cooked spaghetti, diced chicken, roasted red peppers, mushroom soup, green pepper and cheese. Pour into a large baking dish and bake for 90 minutes in a preheated oven. Serve immediately.

    Very easy but definitely only serves 4 not 7 and needs only about half an hour in the oven. Tasty for a midweek meal. - 09 Jan 2012
