Dead Easy Chicken

    25 min

Pan fried chicken breasts that are really, quite simply, dead easy to make! They are flavoured with chicken stock granules and butter, and that is it. Serve with potatoes and veg, or in a sandwich.

    • 4 skinless chicken breast fillets
    • 60g butter or margarine
    • 2 tablespoons chicken stock granules

    1. Melt butter or margarine in a medium frying pan over medium heat. Stir in stock granules; when melted together, add chicken and brown, turning often. If necessary, add a little more butter or margarine and granules. Cook for about 20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.

lovely and so quick and easy  -  08 Jun 2014

A little salty. Could use some form of unsalted margarine to lessen the saltiness. I prepared and put on a chicken pasta. My very picky husband liked it and he normally does not eat chicken unless it's fried with a batter on it. Next time I think I will melt cheese on top - like Provolone or Monterrey Jack.  -  29 Dec 2000  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)

Good flavor. Couldn't be simpler. Chicken Soup base granules aren't as salty as boullion cubes and worked great. Will make it again. Thanks.  -  16 Nov 2005  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
