Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

    2 hours 24 min

A delectable cookie that tastes as good as it looks! The outside is crisp, whilst the inside is gooey and moist. Chilling the cookie dough is essential. The amount of sugar may be reduced so it's not too sweet.

These are exactly what they're described as. Really simple to make and really tasty. I followed the recipe to the letter and although i didn't think they were too sweet, I could see how some people would. I will definitely make these again.  -  16 Jun 2012

Easy to make, but went very flat on the tray. Still very nice though.  -  12 Jan 2014

Wow! Okay, I know what needs to be done to make this recipe perfect. After reading the disappointing reviews, I made the following changes. In addition to the 1 ounce of semi sweet chocolate, I added 1/3 cup of cocoa powder. I also reduced the chocolate chips to 1/2 cup. I refrigerated about 4 hours & baked at 350 for 12 minutes. I also did not grease the pan and the cookies came off great. These turned out perfect! Great sweetness, nice and chocolately, chewy and moist, yet crispy.  -  16 May 2006  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
