    About this recipe: These chewy treats are the perfect after school snack. They are quick and easy to make, incredibly moreish and everyone will love them.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 24 

    • 50g butter
    • 285g marshmallows
    • 200g coco pops cereal
    • 25g sweetened desiccated coconut

    Method
    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Extra time:1hr cooling  ›  Ready in:1hr10min 

    1. Grease a 20x30cm tin. Melt butter in large saucepan over medium-low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
    2. Quickly stir the marshmallow mixture into the cereal and coconut to coat. Press into the prepared tin with the back of a buttered spoon. Cool completely before cutting into squares.

    285g of marshmallows is far too much for 200g of coco pops, more coco pops are needed to make this recipe more easier to work with - 09 Apr 2016
