    About this recipe: These treats are incredibly sweet, coconutty and oh-so-moreish. They are wonderful to snack on or to enjoy as an after dinner treat.

    Makes: 4 - 5 servings

    • 340g vanilla biscuits, crushed
    • 100g desiccated coconut
    • 120g finely chopped walnuts
    • 1 (397g) tin sweetened condensed milk
    • 4 tablespoons rum
    • 2 tablespoons icing sugar

    1. In a large bowl, toss together the crushed biscuits, coconut and walnuts. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk and rum; mix well. Refrigerate for 4 hours.
    2. Shape into 2.5cm balls. Roll in sugar. Store in covered container in refrigerator 24 hours before serving.
