About this recipe: Mulled cranberry juice, like mulled wine, is a winter tradition in my home. This warm, comforting drink is easy to prepare and is great for Christmastime.

Ingredients
Serves: 16 

  • 2L (3 1/4 pints) cranberry juice
  • 2 oranges, zested
  • 14 whole cloves
  • 175g (6 oz) dried cranberries
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 300g (11 oz) honey
  • 2 cinnamon sticks

Method
Prep:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:30min 

  1. Pour cranberry juice into a slow cooker; set on high. Add remaining ingredients to the juice. Heat, stirring occasionally, until hot and steamy, about 20 minutes.

Tip:

Don't have a slow cooker? Simply make this in a large stockpot over medium heat on the hob instead.

Love this. Made half and used grape juice as I didn't have cranberry and used a third of the honey and a couple of star anise. Taste just like the real thing - 09 Dec 2012
