285g fresh cranberries
375g coarsely chopped, peeled apples
150g caster sugar
80g porridge oats
5 tablespoons plain flour
60g chopped pecans
70g dark brown soft sugar

Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Lightly grease a 3 litre baking dish.
In a medium bowl, toss together the cranberries, apples and caster sugar. Pour into the prepared dish.
Mix together the oats, flour, pecans and dark brown soft sugar in the same bowl. Spread evenly over the fruit in the dish.
Pinch off small pieces of butter and arrange them on top of the oat mixture. Bake, covered, for 50 minutes in the preheated oven.
Remove the lid and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the top is toasted.
