About this recipe: This is a warm snack, which is quick and easy to make. Toast is topped with tuna in a creamy sauce. It's perfect for when you don't have much time to cook.


Serves: 4 

  • 1 (185g) tin tuna, drained
  • 1 (295g) tin condensed cream of celery soup
  • 250ml milk
  • 8 slices bread
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, mix tuna and soup. Gradually stir in the milk. Cook 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
  2. Toast the bread. Pour equal amounts of the tuna mixture over each slice of toasted bread and season with salt and pepper to serve.
