Best BBQ Sauce
A quick and easy barbecue sauce, which is great as a marinade or basting sauce. It adds a wonderful sweet, tangy and lightly spicy flavour to any meat.
Ingredients
Makes: 550 g approximately
- 500g tomato ketchup
- 2 tablespoons dark brown soft sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic granules
- salt and pepper to taste

- In a small bowl, combine ketchup, dark brown soft sugar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, hot sauce and lemon juice. Add the finely chopped onion, season with garlic granules, salt and pepper. Mix well.

I was making ribs and realized I didn't have any BBQ sauce. I picked this one out because it looked tasty, and it didn't let me down. This was really really good! BUT, if you're looking for the genuine "BBQ" flavor- this isn't really that- but me and my hubby LOVED it. Tastes so good on out hamburgers. It's a definate keeper!
