About this recipe: A wonderful pasta dish, which is packed full of flavour. Fettucine is topped with chicken in a creamy cheese sauce. Enjoy with crusty bread and a side salad, if desired.


Serves: 4 

  • 225g fettuccine pasta
  • 250ml milk
  • 2 tablespoons plain flour
  • 225g cottage cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic granules
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 40g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 280g diced, cooked chicken breast meat

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to the boil. Cook pasta in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Meanwhile, in a food processor, place the milk, flour, cottage cheese, garlic granules, onion, salt and pepper and Parmesan cheese. Blend until smooth.
  3. Transfer the blended mixture to a saucepan over medium heat. Mix in the chicken and cook until heated through. Serve hot over pasta.
