    About this recipe: This recipe is highly versatile, so adjust the additions to your liking. This version is made with oats, coconut, almonds, chocolate chips and cranberries. They are the perfect on-the-go snack.

    Serves: 1 20x30cm tin

    • 250g porridge oats
    • 1 (397g) tin sweetened condensed milk
    • 30g butter, melted
    • 75g desiccated coconut
    • 100g flaked almonds
    • 175g plain chocolate chips
    • 60g sweetened dried cranberries

    1. Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Grease a 20x30cm baking tin.
    2. In a large bowl, mix together the oats, sweetened condensed milk, butter, coconut, almonds, chocolate chips and cranberries with your hands until well blended. Press flat into the prepared tin.
    3. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, depending on how crunchy you want them. Lightly browned just around the edges will give you moist, chewy bars. Let cool for 5 minutes, cut into squares then let cool completely before serving.
