200g caster sugar
220g light brown soft sugar
240ml vegetable oil
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
500g plain flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
60g chopped walnuts
350g plain chocolate chips

In a large mixing bowl thoroughly cream sugars, butter, oil, egg, milk and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients, walnuts and chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased baking tray. Bake at 180 C / Gas 4 for 8-12 minutes. (Cookies are light in colour when done.)
